Our customer focused philosophy means that do not simply test hearing and fit hearing aids - we help people who are suffering from a hearing loss to experience a better quality of life.  This includes spending time correctly diagnosing the nature of the hearing loss, explaining the details of the hearing loss, fitting the correct hearing aids (if necessary), and, most importantly, providing the necessary counselling to deal with the hearing loss.

Audiology Services

An appointment should be scheduled if you, or a loved one, have a suspected hearing loss.  We recommend that people over the age of 50 schedule a regular yearly hearing test as part of one’s regular annual health checkup.  We provide the following services, for which we claim directly from medical aid:

We claim directly from all major medical aids in the country, and will be happy to assist you with any queries relating to your benefits and medical plan.

Visiting an audiologist is a huge step towards better hearing, and it is easier to take than you might think. It does not take long and it does not hurt. Remember to take someone with you to keep you company and to help you remember what is being said.  Before the appointment it is a good idea to make some notes regarding your family life, social life and hobbies; consider some specific situations in which you would like to hear more clearly.

Lots of people have difficulty hearing speech in noisy places such as meeting rooms, parties, restaurants, supermarkets, etc.  Once you have decided which situations are important, list them in order of priority, ready to discuss with your audiologist

Daniela Signer - Audiologist

Daniela Signer is an audiologist situated in Randburg, Johannesburg, and qualified from Wits with an Honours in Speech and Hearing in 2006.  She started working as an audiologist at a private audiology practice in 2008, until October 2012 when she decided to open her own hearing clinic practice:  Come hear!

As the owner/Audiologist of Come Hear, Daniela is able to realise her life long dream of running her own private Audiology practice, according to her single guiding principle:  that hearing loss is not only about ears and hearing - it is about people, and being able to change the lives of people suffering from a hearing loss for the better.
